Welcome to Konexion. By accessing or using our website (konexion.io) and Chrome Extension (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Konexion, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Konexion is a personal relationship management tool that helps you organize contacts, interactions, reminders, and notes. The Service includes:

• A web-based application accessible at konexion.io
• A Chrome Extension for LinkedIn integration
• Data storage and synchronization across devices

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our permission.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content.
• Violate the privacy or rights of others.
• Use the Service to spam, harass, or send unsolicited communications.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are the property of Konexion and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices.
• Use our trademarks or branding without permission.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all data you input into Konexion (contacts, notes, interactions, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Chrome Extension

The Konexion Chrome Extension:

• Only operates on pages you visit on linkedin.com and konexion.io.
• May read publicly visible LinkedIn profile data when you manually choose to save a contact.
• Does not track your browsing activity or collect unrelated data.

Use of the Extension is subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. The Extension relies on permissions granted through the Chrome Web Store.

8. Payment & Subscription

Konexion may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Paid features, pricing, and billing terms will be displayed in the app or on our website.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

9. Data Security & Privacy

We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Service. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the Service or other users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Konexion and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Konexion harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction where Konexion operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
